windbreak is a Japanese anime series produced by CloverWorks and an adaptation of Satoru Nii’s manga of the same name. In total, 24 volumes of the Wind Breaker manga have been released since its debut in January 2021. The anime is directed by Toshifumi Akai, and the adaptation is written by Hiroshi Seko. The anime is licensed by Aniplex of America and distributed by Crunchyroll.
Haruka Sakura, a recent transfer student, enrolls at Furin High School, which is notorious for its population of powerful beasts who choose to resolve conflicts with their fists. The student organization includes the Bofurin group, which protects the city’s citizens. However, Sakura has one goal in mind: fight her way to the top.
