One of the biggest box office blockbusters in 2026 is undoubtedly Illumination’s sequel to the massive Nintendo video game adaptation. Debuting in theaters on April 1, 2026, you can expect to know when the film will arrive on Peacock and Netflix, and whether it will hit other countries as well.

Let’s start with the United States, where the film will stream by the end of 2026.
This film will come on Netflix Part of an agreement with Universal Returned in July 2021, where animated films from the studio will come to the service as part of the Pay-1 window. That deal was recently extended again and extended to the live-action library through 2026 (and, in fact, brought over those titles).
Following the theatrical release, the film will be available on Peacock for four months, then on Netflix for ten months, and then on Peacock for an additional four months. So, when will the movie be out on Netflix and Peacock?
