Welcome back to our weekly breakdown of the Netflix Top 10! This week’s global charts (covering March 9th through the 15th) are a fascinating mix of shifting tides and fresh contenders. While a few beloved heavyweights are showing slight signs of viewership fatigue, an unexpectedly chaotic new reality show is actually sticking the landing, and a massive action blockbuster just claimed the top spot for 2026 so far. Grab your spreadsheets, and let’s get into the numbers.
If you’re looking for a deep-dive on One Piece season 2, we’ve done that seperately this week because it’s not an easy picture to paint. The headline is that season 2 is definitely pulling in fewer viewers than season 1, but there’s a lot of nuance to that.
Also, in case you missed it, we did an update post on the viewership races for Bridgerton and Stranger Things last week.
As always, let’s kick off with the weekly rankings, which give us some indication of whether the titles at the top of the chart were doing well or not so well compared to weeks dating back to June 2023.
- English TV: 64,500,000 (Rank 16 of 143 weeks)
- English Film: 78,900,000 (Rank 55 of 143 weeks)
- Non-English TV: 25,400,000 (Rank 87 of 143 weeks)
- Non-English Film: 18,200,000 (Rank 132 of 143 weeks)
Few no shows in the top 10s this week: On the TV English side, Dynasty: The Murdochs notably didn’t feature nor did the Fatal Attraction season 3. We feel bad everytime we say it but Sesame Street returned for volume 2 and once again missed out. Love is Blind: Sweden season 3 follows season 2 in not featuring despite season 1 managing too back in 2024.
1. Virgin River Shows (Small) Decay Again

Virgin River, with its season 8 renewal, has now achieved the accolade of being Netflix’s longest-running show, and that’s no easy feat in the world of streaming. How did it get there? Maintaining a loyal fanbase that turns out season over season, and that’s certainly the case again with season 7, although thanks to stiff competition, it did decay once again in prior seasons. With 7M views, it comes in around 12% lower than the same opening debut as season 6.
2. War Machine Overtakes The Rip
Last week, we called War Machine a blockbuster, and it just proved it this week with a near 13% rise in viewing hours, allowing it to surpass The Rip as the most-watched movie of 2026 on Netflix so far. As a reminder, it debuted with 39.3M views in its first three days vs 41.6M for The Rip, and as you can see below, it’s now overtaken the Ben Affleck/Matt Damon title as of week 2:
How about that all-time top 10 placement? Not right now. It’s still tracking a little bit below Damsel, which holds that tenth position in the all-time top 10.
3. Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere

It’s dominated my social feeds all week, and the UK press, as the subjects of this particular documentary, only served to give it more eyeballs in their almighty crashouts reacting to the documentary, but do the numbers stack up? At the BBC for the majority of his career, documentarian Louis Theroux isn’t a global name, and that may be reflected in the documentary’s viewership, with just 6.3M views in its opening five days. Compared to other documentary features released on a Wednesday, that’s towards the bottom of the pecking order.
4. Netflix Finally Finds A New Reality Show: Age of Attraction
While Netflix still has great success with some of its older reality shows even to this day, newer titles haven’t fared so well in recent years, but will Age of Attraction, which has picked up a fair bit of social engagement (some deliberating taking the piss out of the format, it must be said), do any better? Yes, seems to be the answer.
Unlike some of the other recent titles in the reality space, like Blue Therapy, Sneaky Links: Dating After Dark, Next Gen Chef, Building the Band (at least in week 1), and Celebrity Bear Hunt, it did feature at least but it actually got pretty good viewership. Compared to other reality releases on a Wednesday in recent years, here’s how it stacks up:
5. That Night from Netflix Spain

Picking up pretty solid reviews from across the board (including from our own Florian, who is usually pretty stingy with scores) is Netflix Spain’s thriller/crime mystery series, which picked up 3.8M views. That puts it right up there with the first season of Breathless and Billionaires Bunker. Considering the stiff competition last week on the series side, that’s a pretty good debut.
6. Made in Korea From Netflix India
Not too many comparisons for this new movie from India given Friday (not Thursday in the case of Made in Korea) is mainly the day when most new movies from the region are released but it’s a decent start for the movie that crosses into the K-Drama realm.
7. A Check-In With The Night Agent and Vladimir
The Night Agent might be falling out of the Netflix top 10s next week by the looks of it, so let’s do a quick check-in with season 3 compared to the prior seasons as of week 4. As of now, the show sits at 26.7M views, which puts it just shy of 35% down on season 2 and 64% down on season 1.
Last week, we weren’t especially kind on Vladimir but have things dramatically changed in week 2 with a full week? Not really. It had a 17% drop in viewing hours and still ranks towards the bottom against recent limited series drops.
