Netflix’s latest genre push has finally arrived outside the United States and Canada. Over the past week, the video podcast has steadily grown to international subscribers, following the feature’s initial North American launch in January 2026 (where the library now stands at 46 titles).
When Netflix first announced its podcast initiative late last year with several distributor deals, it initially only included the US and Canada. At the time, the streamer only confirmed that “other markets [would] to follow.”
Thankfully, international customers didn’t have to wait too long.
At the time of writing, the podcast lineup available on Netflix in international regions consists of 22 titles. Although availability may vary slightly depending on your region, most countries we checked had access to the following:
- Behind the Bastards (2026)
- Bobbycast (2026)
- The Breakfast Club (2026)
- Bridgerton: The Official Podcast (2026)
- Buried Bones – A Historical True Crime Podcast with Kate Winkler Dawson and Paul Holes (2026)
- Dear Chelsea (2026)
- In the Test Kitchen (2025)
- The Last Podcast on the Left (2026)
- Murder with My Husband (2026)
- My Favorite Murder (2026) with Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark
- The Pete Davidson Show (2026)
- Psychology of Your 20s (2026)
- Side Dishes from America’s Test Kitchen (2026)
- Skip Intro (2026)
- Murder in a Small Town (2026)
- Stacey with Tai (2026)
- Things They Don’t Want You to Know (2026)
- Stuff to Blow Your Mind (2026)
- Stuff You Missed in History Class (2026)
- Therapas with Jake Shane (2026)
- This Is Important (2026)
- The White House with Michael Irwin (2026)
This is less than half the total number of podcasts available in the US and Canada, which stands at 46 titles at the time of writing. Most of these are structured into two seasons: a “Best of 2025” collection, and a 2026 playlist that updates weekly with new episodes.
What is the biggest divide between regions? Sports content. In international regions, Netflix is currently missing all titles from Barstool and The Ringer. However, this gap will soon be closed, as many of those titles are now showing placeholder pages and episodes are set to drop over the next few weeks.
As far as access goes, there are currently no dubbing options for any podcasts. Most third-party shows offer English subtitles (with French sometimes available on a push), while some lack subtitles altogether. However, Netflix’s in-house productions—like bridgerton The companion podcast (which launched on the “Still Watching Netflix” YouTube channel with Season 4 Part 1 in lieu of being available for international subs) – features extensive subtitle options in multiple languages.

How well are podcasts doing so far on Netflix? To be honest, we have absolutely no idea. Not a single podcast has yet managed to crack the US daily top 10, and our check on Google Trends came up completely flat.
So, why is Netflix betting on them? This is cheap entertainment that, at least on paper, has the potential to waste hours of viewing and at the end of the day, Netflix is now an engagement company like anything else.
The podcast industry’s audience metrics have always been extremely opaque – even more so than streaming. This was fully exposed in a Bloomberg Screentime interview a few years ago between Lucas Shaw and The Ringer CEO Bill Simmons (whose network is a major part of Netflix’s new podcast push). When pressed about what makes audience size a “hit,” Simmons deferred, admitting that he doesn’t try to look at audience numbers and comparing the current podcast boom to the Wild West of the blog era of the mid-2000s.
We hope that when the next Netflix engagement report covers the first half of this year, we will get a clearer picture of viewership. However, if Netflix logs each podcast episode individually rather than under a single banner, many may have fewer than 100,000 views and fail to rank altogether. Given that many of these video podcasts struggle to garner even a few tens of thousands of views on YouTube, our expectations are extremely modest.
You can find our full list of video podcasts available on Netflix (US Library) here. Alternatively, Netflix has a dedicated categories page that shows all the podcasts available in your specific region. You can access it using style ID 82696818 or by clicking this link.
Of course, Netflix isn’t the only platform leaning into this format. This is what the latest news says Apple is also joining the video podcast competition.
