ITZY’s Ryujin to play her first leading role in Netflix’s K-drama film shaving(wt). She will star alongside Roh Jeong Eui and Japanese actor Kasamatsu Shu and filming is already underway. Here’s everything we know so far.
shaving(wt) is an upcoming South Korean Netflix original film directed by Kim Jung Hoon (The Pirate 2: The Last Royal Treasure).

there are three actors linked to the project: Roh Jeong Eui, Shin Ryu Jin, and Kasamatsu Sho.
Roh Jeong Eui Has starred in three Netflix projects so far, all in lead roles. Her first performance was in the internationally licensed K-drama from SBS in 2021, our sweet summer. A few years later, she would star as Han Su Na in the dystopian action-thriller badlands hunter and as Jung Jae I in the romance thriller hierarchy.

Shin Ryu Jin Famous for being a member of the K-pop group ITZY. She made her debut in February 2019 as the lead dancer, sub-singer and center of the group. Aside from his music career, Ryu Jin’s television appearances have been limited to guest spots on variety and talk shows as well as competitions. His only film role to date was a small role in The King (2017). Given their popularity, expect there to be a lot of eyes on this project.

Kasamatsu Show Has appeared in only two Netflix Originals, both in supporting roles: the second season of naked director and limited series adherent. He will also star in a supporting role in the upcoming original series straight to hell. his role in shaving(wt) The Netflix project will mark the actor’s first lead role. Outside of Netflix, he is best known for acting yoshino And tokyo vice.

when is the release date of netflix shaving(wt)?
There is no fixed release date or release window for this shaving(wt). Given that filming is currently underway, we still don’t expect to see the film on Netflix before the end of 2026. shaving(wt) On Netflix sometime in the first half of 2027.
