The return of the offbeat series that blends crime drama and black comedy with Zen principles is one of the main events announced for Germany in 2026. It is scheduled for May.
Following the Halloween debut in October 2024, Netflix Germany is quick to order some more thrills and misfortunes for Tom Schilling. He spends more time with his daughter Emily, argues more mindfully with his soon-to-be ex-wife Katharina, and has added an unusual responsibility to his career: He is the legal representative of two mafia clans whose bosses he consciously banished from the scene. But despite this strangely harmonious balance, Bjorn suffers from inner turmoil and loss of control.
The reason is the child inside them! As his mindfulness coach Joschka Breitner explains, Björn’s old childhood wounds and unresolved conflicts weighed on him more than he realized. While Björn tries to heal these wounds and make peace with his past, he also has to deal with annoying helicopter parents and police investigators, blackmail, and the general challenges of life. Ultimately, Björn realizes that his inner work not only brings emotional clarity, but also has practical effects on his dark activities.
