What's Coming to Netflix This Week March 2nd March 8th 2026

Welcome to this weekly look at what you can watch on Netflix in the next seven days. I’m coming to you live from New York for a week-long trip to the United States, so forgive me for being late. There’s a lot to look forward to this week, including the SVOD premiere of one of the best World War II movies of at least the last five years, as well as the premiere of a new Netflix Original limited series led by Rachel Weisz.

Want to see what else is coming in March 2026? We’ve just updated our preview of the month’s new releases with titles you won’t find on other lists around the web (including Netflix’s TUDUM).

What to watch on Netflix this week

nuremberg (2025)

coming to netflix: Saturday

If you’re looking for a heavy-hitting historical drama this weekend, look no further than nuremberg. Netflix has managed to acquire this high-profile WWII thriller which features an incredible cast including Russell Crowe and Rami Malek. The film explores the psychological battle between a US Army psychiatrist and Hermann Göring during the famous trials, making it a must-see for those who enjoy tense, character-driven period pieces. It comes to Netflix as part of Sony Pictures’ first window deal, and we suspect it’s going to be a big hit on Netflix. Having seen it myself, it was remarkable how well Crowe adapted his character, making him seem sympathetic and human despite the atrocities he signed up to commit. Must see.

jurassic world and dinosaurs

coming to netflix: whole week

OK, we’re adding a bunch of titles here, but the truth is, if you’re a dinosaur fan, you’ve had your Christmas on Netflix this week. Not only did Netflix get the brand new Jurassic World movie at the end of February, which was released in theaters last year, but it also now gets every single Jurassic World title, so there’s plenty of action to be had. If that’s not enough, the streamer will also drop its new docu-series narrated by Morgan Freeman, executive produced by Steven Spielberg, and coming from the same VFX team behind Star Wars – if that doesn’t sell you, I don’t know what will.

Vladimir (Limited Series) – Netflix Original

coming to netflix: Thursday

One of the most anticipated book-to-screen adaptations of the year finally arrives this Thursday. Starring Oscar winner Rachel Weisz, Vladimir is an eight-episode limited series based on Julia May Jonas’s acclaimed debut novel. Weisz plays a middle-aged professor who finds her life in turmoil as she develops a dangerous, all-consuming obsession with one of her younger colleagues. white lotus And one day The extraordinary Leo Woodall.

Right now it is difficult to decide whether it will be a huge hit for Netflix or not. The streamer had a big hit with His & Hers in January and it ticked a few boxes, but its artwork is a bit strange and the name doesn’t tell you much about it… there could be a hidden horse.
