What to watch on Netflix this week

a big adventure beautiful journey (2025)

coming to netflix: Saturday

Sadly, love the original movies a big adventure beautiful journey There isn’t much love in cinemas these days, people mostly go out to watch franchise tentpoles. A tragedy, considering that original films like A Big Bold Beautiful Journey used to be the bread and butter of the industry. I’m digressing, but if you’ve missed seeing this romantic comedy with a sci-fi twist, Netflix will give you the first chance to see it after the theatrical and VOD windows.

Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell headline the film, with the plot revolving around their characters, Sarah and David, lonely strangers who meet at a wedding and somehow get involved in an adventure that allows them to relive important memories from both of their pasts.

incision (2026)

coming to netflix: Friday

People we meet on holidays It may be Netflix’s first big new movie of 2026, but incision It’s definitely the biggest new movie of 2026 so far, if you get my point, taking over the mid-January slot that Back in Action occupied in 2025. Like Back in Action, we’re getting some action as well as some big movie stars, although The Rip has a much more serious tone.

The official logline reads: “Trust is broken when a Miami police team finds millions in cash inside a decaying warehouse, and everyone – and everything – is called into question.”

It has a killer cast (which is usually a sure sign that we’ve got a killer movie on the way) with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck being the main names along with Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Kyle Chandler.

It is the first of at least two Ben Affleck films scheduled for Netflix in 2026, the other being AnimalWhich was confirmed last week for a 2026 release.

Agatha Christie’s Many Dials (narrow range)

coming to netflix: Thursday

Agatha Christie’s novels are absolutely timeless, and many have been brought to the screen over the years in both film and television, but Netflix has yet to attempt to bring one of her many classics to life. That changes this week with the arrival of a new British limited series (consisting of just three episodes!).

The synopsis for the new series reads, “In this timeless mystery re-invented by the Queen of Crime, a fearless young aristocrat, Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent, investigates the murder of her love in her family home” featuring an all-star cast including Mia McKenna-Bruce alongside Corey Mylchrist, Helena Bonham Carter and Martin Freeman.

We’ve got coverage all week, so stay tuned!
