As part of its Next on Netflix lineup, the platform revealed additional details about a German remake of a quirky Swedish drama that aired globally over two seasons between 2020 and 2022.
Screened last September as part of Series Berlin, the German take is currently titled liebe und anarchy with the international working title of love and chaos. It is manufactured by BTF, the manufacturer of How to Sell Medicines Online (Fast)which aired its fifth and final season in 2025.
there will be stars in the show ludwig simon (who was part of the group of artists we are the wave in 2019) and Anne SchaeferAnd the logline reads a lot like the opening Of the original Swedish show:
“Married management consultant Sophie is tasked with modernizing the long-established traditional Hamburg publishing house “Blomberg & Ullmann”. There, she starts a provocative game with young IT technician Max, in which they challenge each other to break social conventions. In doing so, they not only throw the old-fashioned team into chaos, but also get dangerously close to each other…”
Original love and chaos Ran for two seasons and was canceled in 2022. Just like the original, manufacturer in which series Lisa Langseth Wrote and/or directed most of the episodes, this version will be led by an all-female creative teamwith the directors Charlotte Rolfes And hermione huntgeberth and author elena senft And Laura Lackman. The show has been shooting in Hamburg since late 2025 and is expected to premiere on Netflix globally later this year.

The series is set to premiere on Netflix globally in 2026 and comes alongside at least 16 other titles from Netflix Germany, along with other standout highlights including returning shows. Maharani And kill thoughtfully, titles like plus Net And Stranger.
