First ‘Bridgerton’ Season 5 Behind-the-Scenes Images of Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton

Whereas bridgerton Season 5 focuses on the romance between Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd) and Michaela (Masali Baduza), with fan-favorite Eloise (Claudia Jessie) one of the first stars seen on set as shooting for the new season continues in the United Kingdom.

Soon after the release of its fourth season, bridgerton is returning to production for its fifth season, featuring the quirky romance between Francesca and Michaela. Shooting for the upcoming season began in London late on 24 March. Filming on the season is expected to last approximately 8 months before concluding. The release date is still a long way off, with the next batch of episodes likely to arrive on the streamer in 2027 or early 2028.

As filming begins, we’re starting to see some first looks for Season 5. While we haven’t seen on-set photos of the new leads yet (beyond the official announcement), we do have images of Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton.

Get a first look at Claudia Jessie behind the scenes of Bridgerton season 5

In photos courtesy of GoffPhotos and UNBOXPHD, several of the show’s extras and stars were seen leaving the set at Goldsmiths Hall in central London, a location frequently used for shooting.

Claudia Jessie and other cast members were seen, most of whom were wearing thick black jackets. Below, Eloise can be seen wearing her traditional light blue dress. Typically, Eloise’s primary color is light blue, which is the main color of the Bridgerton family. Her character’s color palette – light blue, soft pink, light green and lilac – is a visual language that reflects her personality. Such tones represent her soft, bookish and intellectual personality, in contrast to the more whimsical, bright colors of other families of tones, such as Featherington, who wears yellow, orange and pink.

Of course, many were upset that season 5 wouldn’t focus on Eloise’s love story, but there’s still at least one more season coming to fill in those gaps.

What is Eloise’s love story?

After being resistant to marriage for many years, Eloise’s attitude eventually changed, causing her to reconsider her position and life as a woman. She is in constant correspondence with Sir Philip Crane, a man she has never met but only corresponded with through letters. In Season 6, it is likely that Eloise will begin exchanging letters with Sir Philip Crane.

Here is the official summary of Eloise’s novel To Sir Philip, with love:

“Sir Philip learned from his correspondence with his dead wife’s distant cousin that Eloise Bridgerton was a spinster, and so he proposed, thinking she would be domestic and polite, and a little over-eager for a marriage proposal. Except… she wasn’t. The pretty lady at his door was anything but cool, and when she stopped talking long enough to get her mouth off, he just wanted to kiss her… Eloise Bridgerton Couldn’t. But then she started thinking… and before she knew it, she was in a rented car with the man she hoped would be her ideal partner. Not to mention she had two young – and definitely unruly – children. Is it.”

During filming at the Goldsmiths Building in central London, Claudia Jessie was captured in Eloise’s costume. We also have photos of other cast members and additional cast members.
