Welcome to another preview, looking forward to the week of new releases planned for Netflix US. Below, we’ll take a look at all 30 new movie and series releases planned for the week, including Netflix originals like its new documentaries. Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model and the latest season of night agentplus licensed movies like may Day, Falland SVOD premiere east of the wall.

The most anticipated new releases on Netflix this week
night agent (season 3)

Returning just over a year after the second season was released (please, Netflix, more on that here!), The Night Agent is Netflix’s worldwide adaptation of Matthew Quirk’s novel of the same name. Shorun by the same person behind swat, The series is gaining momentum for its third season and already looks set for a fourth season. Season 3 took place in New York, Washington, DC, Türkiye, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.

“Night Agent Peter Sutherland is called in to track down a young Treasury agent who fled Istanbul with sensitive government information after murdering his boss. This sets off a chain of events where Peter investigates a dark money network while avoiding his paid assassins, leading him on a collision course with a relentless journalist. Working together, they uncover buried secrets and old grudges that threaten the government. Threatens to bring them to their knees – and gets them both killed in the process.
east of the wall (2026)

It’s been a busy start to the year for new Sony Pictures movies coming to Netflix, and joining that list this week is Sony Pictures Classics’ highly regarded East of the Wall, described as “an authentic portrait of female resilience in the ‘New West’ inspired by and played by the women and girls who lived it.”
The film, which was a Sundance winner though came up short at the Oscars, follows Tabatha in the Badlands of South Dakota, a rebellious young rancher who rescues and resells horses, and must make tough decisions dealing with her broken family, financial uncertainty and unresolved grief, while also providing shelter to a group of neighborhood teenagers.
mike and molly (Seasons 1-6)

Netflix’s 2026 pickup from the vault of Warner Bros. Television (a deal to purchase the studio and its streaming properties is underway) continues with the latest addition arriving this weekend, with all six seasons and all 127 episodes. mike and mollyThe CBS series was led by Billy Gardell and Melissa McCarthy.
Set in Chicago, the series follows police officer Mike Biggs and school teacher Molly Flynn, who meet in an Overeaters Anonymous group and quickly form a bond that develops from dating to marriage. Along the way, their relationship is shaped by a colorful circle of family and friends, including Mike’s tough-loving mother Peggy, Molly’s vibrant family with her sister Victoria and mother Joyce, and Joyce’s eventual husband Vince.
