Unreserved is a brand new romantic comedy series from sex and the City And Emily in Paris Creator Darren Star, who will serve as an executive producer and a writer and co-showrunner along with New Amsterdam’s David Schulner. Starr and Schulner are joined by fellow executive producer Tony Hernandez (Free Burt) and lily burns (Emily in Paris) Through their banner counterpart.
Netflix has confirmed this Unreserved Darren Star will step down from his role as showrunner and executive producer on the smash hit series Emily in ParisWhich has been renewed for a sixth season and will begin filming in the second quarter of 2026.

Darren Star shared a statement with Netflix:

We’re diving straight into the heritage and romance of Napa Valley, where every great vintage has a unique story to tell.”
Co-showrunner and executive producer David Schulner also said:
“Darren and I wanted to create a series that explores what happens when your greatest passion is also your Achilles’ heel. With the beauty and bounty of Napa as our setting, we hope viewers will never want to leave. We’d like to thank Netflix and Universal Television for letting us drink copious amounts of alcohol throughout the day in the name of careful research.”
