Few franchises have delivered eye-watering viewership like the Russo Brothers’ AGBO-produced extraction The movies and Netflix are going all out with sequels and spin-offs over the next few years. Since three are currently in production or scheduled to go into production soon, here’s a look at what’s coming in the next year or so.

Situation: Pre-production (filming to begin June 2026)
Let’s start with the big ones. Ever since Chris Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave stood on the stage at Tudum to announce a third film due in 2023, things have been relatively quiet.

Production on the action-packed series spanned locations in Ireland and Morocco, with episodes directed by Lewis Hooper (the Sandman) and Tim Southam (a piece) and will end at the end of March.
3. Tygo (South Korean spin-off film)

The project drew attention not only for Don Lee’s involvement, but for its supporting cast, which included Lee Jin-uk (sweet home, squid game) and global superstar Lalisa “Lisa” Manobal from BLACKPINK making her feature film debut. To top it all off, trades recently revealed that Iko Uwais’ (raid) The newly formed stunt team is guiding the action sequences, which promise some of the best hand-to-hand combat we’ve seen on the stage.
4. An upcoming video game collaboration?
It’s been a while, so take it with a pinch of salt.
According to reports from 2022 (yes, that’s some time ago), outlets like ign Russo Brothers’ production banner, AGBO, signed a major deal with Japanese game publisher Nexon. Nexon purchased a 38% minority stake in AGBO for $400 million, valuing the independent film banner at an incredible $1.1 billion.
