First of all, we have a huge Beetle Juice Reunion on our hands, with Winona Ryder Joining the cast in a guest role as Tabitha. She has joined the previously announced program eva green (penny terrible), who will play Ophelia, Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Morticia’s long-lost sister. Veteran actors are also joining this group Chris Sarandon (the Princess Bride), noah taylor (peaky blinders), oscar morgan (gotham knights), and newcomer Kennedy Moyer.
To celebrate the start of production, Netflix released a mysterious “welcome treat” teaser announcing the new cast members. True to form, this dinner table was filled with clues, Easter eggs, and sinister forebodings for the Addams family. fans reached the spot Wednesday Subreddits are analyzing every frame.

Here are the biggest clues and theories from the Season 3 casting trailer.
welcome to adams murder party
The teaser depicts cast announcements surrounding an elaborate dinner party hosted by the Addams family. But as eagle-eyed fans have pointed out, it looks like a full-on murder mystery game.
Fans noticed that Eva Green’s character, Ophelia, does not have a standard seating card. Instead, his name is associated with a bleeding cake that has been directly stabbed. Is Ophelia a “victim” of this fake murder party? Or is this a foreshadowing of a much darker fate for Morticia’s sister?
What do the letters mean?
On the table, each character’s seating card is accompanied by a letter that fans believe matches their clan, school, or allegiance in this complex game:
- A = Adams
- Wednesday, Morticia and Gomez, Pugsley, Grandma, Thing, Uncle Fester
- F = Frump (Grandmother and Morticia’s first name)
- n = Nevermore Academy
- Bianca, Ajax, Eugene, Agnes, Enid (on fire), Capri,
- sheriff star = law enforcement
But things get tricky with other letters. Many of the new artists have “B” On their card. are fans Theorizing this could be a whole new opposing groupA rival ostracized school, or a new family (perhaps the Balthazars, a nod to old Addams lore). Ryder’s character, Tabitha, was shown here in an egg cup along with two other cups. Cyrus, Daisy and Atticus also featured B.

Meanwhile, Tyler Galpin’s cards feature either “O” (for excluded) or a “0” (Zero). A void may symbolize a clean slate as Tyler navigates his complex Hyde identity outside the control of a master.
Chris Sarandon’s casting is linked to a champagne bottle labeled “Balthazar” as well as another bottle with a giant question mark on it. Could Sarandon play Gomez’s deceased cousin from the original 1960s sitcom, returning as a spiritual guide to a psychic?
Why is Enid’s name tag on fire?
One of the most worrying moments in the teaser is a shot of Emma Myers’s name tag (Enid Sinclair) actively burning rapidly.
Given Enid’s transformation into a full-blown werewolf at the end of Season 2, some fans are concerned and speculating about what this fire represents. Some believe that being trapped in her alpha wolf form will profoundly change her, causing her to lose her grip on her humanity. Others think that the fire symbolizes a “phoenix reborn” where the old Enid is burned to make room for a fiercer, more dangerous Alpha.
