March is (finally) going to be an unusually busy month on the new Netflix Originals front with a few more movies coming and some big series hitters, including some from outside the United States. Below, we’re going to take an early look at the Netflix Originals we’re most excited about throughout the month.

By then, we’re already listing all the evictions scheduled for March 2026, and it’s going to be a busy month.

March 5th

Vladimir (limited series)

Kicking off the month is a coveted limited series that has “awards season” written all over it. Based on the acclaimed debut novel by Julia May Jonas, Rachel Weisz plays a spunky, middle-aged college professor who finds her orderly life thrown into disarray when she becomes dangerously obsessed with a charismatic young novelist (played by). white lotus And one day Breakout Leo Woodall). With Weiss also serving as executive producer and John Slattery joining the cast, the show is hoping to continue Netflix’s hot streak in the limited series field through 2026, with HIS & HERS already set to join Netflix’s most-watched list of all time.

If you are forgetting your solution reacher On Prime Video, Netflix has the perfect antidote. Alan Ritchson stars in this new sci-fi action thriller, which appears to be one of the service’s biggest swings of the year, with the streamer teaming up with Lionsgate for this particular title.

Directed by Patrick Hughes (hitman’s bodyguard), the film follows a group of elite Army Rangers during the final 24 hours of their selection. What begins as a tough but controlled training exercise in the Australian wilderness turns into a literal battle for survival when the unit encounters a “mechanoid” – a giant, extraterrestrial mechanical menace.

Ritchson is joined by a massive supporting cast including Dennis Quaid, Stephen James and Jai Courtney. Early teasers hint at a vibe somewhere in between predator And District 9So expect lots of practical effects and Ritchson doing what he does best: kicking ass.

One Piece (Season 2)

The Straw Hat Pirates are finally back! In 2023, after what feels like an eternity after the record-breaking first season, Luffy and his crew are officially entering the Grand Line. Subtitled “Into the Grand Line”, this season features huge fan-favorite arcs including the snowy peaks of Loguetown, Rivers Mountain and Drum Island.

The scale looks to be much bigger this time, and we’ll finally see the live-action debut of Tony Tony Chopper, Princess Vivi, and the villain Sir Crocodile (played by Joe Manganiello). If you’ve been following our production updates, you’ll know that the budget for this season was huge — and from the teaser, every penny is on screen.

The only question we still have is why Netflix chose to release it so early in the week, at least on Tuesday… we still don’t have a good answer.

Virgin River (Season 7)

Comfort TV is back in the middle of the month with the seventh release virgin river. This season picks up almost immediately after the dramatic finale of Season 6. We’ll see Mel and Jack moving into their new life as a married couple, while the mystery of Charmaine’s disappearance hangs over the town.

Even better news for Virgin River fans is that season 8 is not only confirmed, but will also begin production in April, meaning we should see even more on our screens by either late 2026 or, more likely, early 2027.

That Night (Season 1)

Netflix Spain has been on a roll lately, and that night (Adaptation of Gillian McAllister’s bestseller) Looks like another winner. Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man

At the behest of Peaky Blinders, the Shelby family is moving from the small screen to the global Netflix film program. Set in Birmingham during the 1940s against the backdrop of World War II, Cillian Murphy returns as Tommy Shelby in what is being described as the definitive final chapter of his story.

The cast of this film is frankly ridiculous, including Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, and Tim Roth. Although it opens with a limited theatrical run on March 6th, it will be available on Netflix globally on the 20th.

26 March

something very bad is going to happen

Produced by The Duffer Brothers (the duo behind Stranger Things)Who also have another show scheduled for 2026 borough), this atmospheric horror series centers on On a “ruined wedding week”. Camila Morrone and Adam DeMarco play a happy couple whose marriage turns into a living nightmare.

Not much is known about what “bad thing” will actually happen – Netflix has kept the plot under heavy lock – but with a performance from Hailey Z. Boston (Brand New Cherry Flavor), expect something surreal, psychological, and truly terrifying to happen.

The entire month finale is a treat for Scandi-noir fans. Based on Jo Nesbø’s famous Harry Hole novels, Tobias Sentelmann plays the tormented detective in this nine-episode series.

Set on the cold, gray streets of Oslo, the first season focuses primarily on The Devil’s Star. Harry must hunt down a serial killer while contending with his corrupt rival, Tom Waller (played by Joel Kinnaman). With Nesbo writing the script herself, this appears to be the most faithful adaptation of the books to date.
