When it comes to Netflix’s English-language crown jewels, few titles hold a candle to global dominance stranger things And bridgerton. Now we’ve taken a deeper dive into both’s 91-day launch window (the window that determines Netflix’s all-time most-watched list). stranger things 5 more bridgerton Season 4, so how well are they doing? Will either surpass its predecessor? The answer is no, but it’s close.
Thanks to our friend Frederick for his excellent tracking chart Netflix and ChiFreshWe have a clear look at 91-day viewership for both stranger things season 5 more bridgerton Season 4. Verdict? Neither show will be able to surpass its predecessor in terms of total views (Complete Viewing Equivalent or CVE). In fact, one of the all-time major milestones is missing entirely.
Let’s break down the numbers.
stranger things Season 5: The Upside Down Momentum
Heading into the final season of the Duffer Brothers’ sci-fi epic, expectations couldn’t be higher. Season 4 was a cultural juggernaut, fueled by water-cooler moments and a viral Kate Bush revival, that ended its 91-day window with a surprise. 140.7 million views.
If we look at the Season 5 trajectory, the launch was undeniably massive. For a brief, flashing window between Day 10 and Day 21, Season 5 was actually running ahead of Season 4, but that was largely due to falling episodes. For Season 4, the series was divided into two parts, while Season 5 was divided into three parts, meaning the runtime for each part was ultimately shorter, leading to lower initial viewing numbers.

By Day 28, Season 5’s red line had slipped below Season 4’s black line, and the gap has widened since then. By day 77, Season 5 has received 132.7 million views.
With only a few weeks left in its crucial 91-day premiere window, the curve has essentially flattened. It is mathematically impossible for Season 5 to get the additional 8 million views needed to dethrone Season 4. While over 130 million views is a phenomenal, blockbuster result that any other streamer would love and leaves it in fifth place on Netflix’s most-watched list of all time, it won’t end with a blockbuster high. We’ll leave it to you to find out why.
bridgerton Season 4: A Slow Walk Through the Ton
If stranger things suffers from front-loaded binging, bridgerton Season 4 is suffering from a slightly cold reception overall.
Season 3 was an absolute monster for Netflix, ending its 91-day run 106.0 million views, Ultimately above season 2 and behind season 1 of Bridgerton, which grossed 113.3 million in the same period. Heading into Season 4, the hope was that the beloved Shondaland romance would continue its upward momentum. Instead, things have slowed down, but not dramatically.

Judging by the initial rollout, Season 4 is currently filming 80.0 million views Around the 14th day. While 80 million views in two weeks is a staggering number for television, it lags far behind Season 3, which had already crossed the ~85 million mark at the same point in its lifetime.
But the drop-off doesn’t necessarily mean losing out on Season 3. Based on this current trajectory and the typical decay rate after the first 14 days of the Bridgerton season, Season 4 is not expected to make Netflix’s top 10 English TV list of all time.
To enter the top 10, the series must have more than 98.2 million views after 91 days (currently held by The Night Agent S1). While Day 14 looks close to 80 million on paper, Netflix shows have lagged badly in viewership growth after their first month. Our current projection model has Season 4 just shy of the cutoff by the time the 91-day window closes, making it second. bridgerton The season missed the all-time top 10 (season 2 and Queen Charlotte were present at one time but were later dropped).
There’s still a way to go, but what do you think – will viewership on Netflix’s two flagship series suddenly skyrocket? Let us know in the comments below.
