‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ Season 2 Images & Cast Revealed

Pip Fitz-Amobie is officially back on the case! Netflix, BBC and ZDFnio recently shared our first look at the highly anticipated second season A Good Girl’s Guide to MurderIt is confirmed to be released sometime in 2026 (sources have previously indicated a summer return).

Based on the best-selling YA novels by Holly Jackson, the first season was a smash hit when it premiered in the summer of 2024. Not only did it reach #1 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV (English) list, but it sent Jackson’s novel back to the top of the New York Times Bestseller list. Now, Pip and his friends are preparing for an even darker, more intriguing mystery. The show was officially renewed in November 2024 with filming continuing throughout 2025.

Thanks to a fresh batch of images recently released, we have a clearer idea of ​​who is returning to the sleepy town of Little Kilton for Season 2 – and who is joining.

Who’s in the first look at A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2?

As expected, brand new photos confirm the return of our main investigative duo and their close-knit group of friends. Based on the photo captions, here’s who you can see in the images at first look:

New faces in season 2

The photo caption also reveals a new addition to the main friend group: freddie englandWho will play the role of Robin Hastings.

According to the official synopsis, Robin is the cousin of Max Hastings. In a move that is sure to cause major tension within the group, Robin begins dating Lauren, making her “a controversial new member of their friendship group”.

Although not featured in first look images, a press release also confirms that Eden H. Davis will play Connor’s brother Jamie.

What is season 2 about?

Produced by Moonez Pictures, Season 2 will pick up after the explosive conclusion of the Andy Bell case. According to the official logline, “Having solved the Andy Bell case, Pip is determined to fix the fallout and stay away from any further investigations. But as Max Hastings’ trial approaches, Connor’s brother Jamie suddenly disappears, and Pip finds himself in a race against time to find him.”

With Jamie missing and the clock ticking, Pip, Ravi, Cara, Lauren and Connor must reunite to unravel a whole new web of mysteries, clues and secrets, while Pip prepares to face Max in court.

Like the first season, international distribution is slightly divided.
