What Netflix Series Are Filming in Spring and Early Summer 2026?

From massive returning stalwarts like Bridgerton and The Wednesdays to brand new projects, Netflix’s 2026 production slate is officially moving into full gear.

It’s already 2026! We’ve seen a lot of great series being produced so far this year, but there are plenty more on the horizon. Below, we’ll take a look at the biggest and most notable shows and movies currently filming and what’s set to be filmed next in the spring or early summer.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Filming dates are highly subject to change. As we’ve covered over the years, the dates below can change dramatically. We will also focus on English language titles.


Netflix series already in production

  • a different world -Filming of this rebooted sequel series began in early February and ran through late April in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • All Sinners Bleed (Season 1) – Filming in Atlanta, the new series has undergone extensive shooting since November and is set to run through mid-May 2026.
  • Assassin’s Creed (Season 1) – Filming in Rome, Italy, this new series went into production in March 2026 and will run until mid-October.
  • breakers – Anthony Starr is in the news for the filming of this new Australian series in Perth, which began filming at the beginning of the year and will wrap up soon.
  • Bridgerton (season 5) – Production is expected to begin by the end of March in the United Kingdom, with filming expected to complete in early 2026 for a 2027 return.

  • Kennedy – Filmed in the United Kingdom, this highly anticipated biopic series covers the Kennedy dynasty, and we already have plenty of BTS first looks as well as the full cast list. It will be filmed in the UK by early June 2026.
  • Leanne (Season 2) -Tickets recently went up for the series finale, which is scheduled to be taped in Los Angeles on April 10. It has been in production since the beginning of the year.
  • Nobody Wants This (Season 3) – In production until March 9 in Los Angeles, with filming continuing through mid-May.
  • One Piece (Season 3) – Production has begun in South Africa just in time for the release of Season 2, our understanding is that cameras will be rolling by August.
  • peaky 1954 -Filming of the sequel series began in February/March in the UK, although we do not know when it will be in production.
  • puzzle – Lauren Lungerich’s new drama series began production in Los Angeles in late March and will run through early June.
  • rabbit – Adam Driver and Regina Hall’s new series is filming in New Jersey in mid-March and will run through the end of June.
  • Supasail (Season 2) – As of the end of March, this comeback series is still filming in London film london), but it is unclear when filming will be completed.
  • Untitled Hockey Project/Sticks – Michelle Monaghan’s new drama series has been in production in Vancouver since mid-January and will wrap in early May 2026. Alonso Ruizpalacios and Trey Edward Schultz are the latest directors to join the roster.
  • Brazilian Boys (Season 1) -Jeremy Strong confirms our previous reporting filming was going on In January on two continents. Filming was originally scheduled to complete in July with stops in Spain, Germany, Brazil and the United Kingdom.
  • The Diplomat (Season 4) – Production has already been underway in the UK and New York since late last year, with filming continuing until early June 2026.
  • Lincoln Lawyer (Season 5) – Los Angeles remains the filming home of this spy drama series and will run until mid-July.
  • Untamed (Season 2) -Filming in Hawaii for its season 2, filming of the new season will continue until mid-June 2026.

  • Wednesday (Season 3) – Under the working title of Briarcliff in Ireland, the current completion date is set for May 2026, although this is reportedly going to take much longer.

Netflix series heading into production

  • 3 Physical Problems (Season 3) – Originally planned to film back-to-back with Season 2, we know Season 2 has finished, but there’s no start date for S3 yet, though we suspect it won’t be too long.
  • Bet (Season 2) – Returning to Toronto, Canada, this adaptation of the anime series will return to production this June.
  • Black Mirror (Season 8) – No word on what shape the new season of Black Mirror will take, but we do know it’s looking to begin filming in June with the UK as one of the locations.
  • Department Q (Season 2) – When we last did our filming schedule, it was reported that the return of the Scottish-based detective series would begin at the beginning of the year, but that did not happen. Instead, the latest initial start date is June 2026.
  • Free Burt (Season 2) – There’s no word on an exact start date, but shooting for the return of the Bert Kreischer comedy series is expected to begin in the summer in Atlanta.

  • Emily in Paris (Season 6) – Confirmed for a 2026 return, with production rumored to begin in April, but the latest dates range from mid-May to late September 2026. Shooting on location in Paris, France.
  • puzzle variations – With an eye on New Jersey shooting, this limited series will begin filming in mid-June and run through mid-October.
  • Forever (Season 2) – After a long wait, production is set to resume in Los Angeles and Martha’s Vineyard on May 8 and run through September.
  • godmode – Formerly known as Thumblight, its production was to begin earlier this year but has been postponed to July. New Jersey and New York are being considered as filming locations.
  • i tease girls – This new comedy series is scheduled for a summer 2026 wide debut in Los Angeles.
  • Little House on the Prairie (Season 2) – Just before Season 1 hits our screens, production on Season 2 will begin in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in mid-June and run through the end of October.
  • Myron Bolitar – The adaptation of Harlen Coben’s US series is set to film in New York – with filming expected to begin in mid-July after a long wait since its initial announcement.
  • Pagan – The new supernatural thriller from Josh Zetumer. Filming will begin in New York in August 2026 and will run through early 2027.
  • Scooby-Doo: Origins (Season 1) – This is the big one. Filming is scheduled to begin April 27 in Atlanta, Georgia and run through mid-September.
  • The Granville Girls (Season 1) The new eight-episode series, based on the novel by Cat Cahill, is set to shoot in Calgary, Alberta, Canada from early June to late September.
  • Lord of the Jungle – Maya Hawke’s new drama series is set to begin shooting in New York in June.
  • God day – Another British production set for a UK shoot is the adaptation of Michael Dobbs’ novel. It is set to open sometime in the spring.

  • The Night Agent (Season 4) – Moving to Los Angeles, cameras are scheduled to begin in early May and run through September.
  • this summer will be different – From Dan Clark and Lynsey Steward, this new series will debut in July and conclude in September, with Prince Edward Island and Toronto, Ontario serving as the filming home.
  • vegas – Filming is set to begin in New York from mid-June to late November.
  • Virgin River (Season 8) – Renewed well ahead of Season 7 streaming, Season 8 of everyone’s favorite romance drama is set to begin shooting on April 22 in Vancouver and run through August 10.

Looking ahead, how to destroy your family According to reports, Anna Taylor-Joy has been pushed back to September at the earliest. There is also currently a series called Project Marion that is scheduled to debut in Albuquerque, NM at the end of the year.
