Everything You Need To Know About The New Netflix Animated Movie

Nature’s archenemies are uniting for a wild adventure this spring. Skydance Animation and Netflix are preparing for release cloudyThe highly anticipated animated family comedy that was previously known and first announced Puku (Keep that word in mind though!) With a brand new trailer and poster officially revealed, here’s our comprehensive preview of everything you need to know about the film before it arrives on Netflix in May 2026.

cloudy is the latest major feature film to come from the multi-year partnership between Netflix and Skydance Animation. The first film of that partnership was Spellbound, directed by Vicky Jensen, starring Rachel Zegler and John Lithgow.

originally titled PukuWe reported last year that the project was slightly delayed to 2026 and that the title was changed after its show at Annecy 2025.

Now, the promotional campaign is officially in full swing. On April 2, Netflix released the first official trailer, a brand new image, and a key art poster with the tagline: “Change your destiny.”

what is the plot of cloudy?

is described as a freaky Friday-like buddy comedy set deep inside the animal kingdom, cloudy Follows a small woodland creature and a majestic, majestic bird. Being natural enemies in “The Valley”, their lives are turned completely upside down when a body swap accident thrusts them into each other’s hair and feathers. They must team up to survive in the wild ecosystem and embark on the most daring adventure of their lives.

Director Nathan Greno promises a unique visual and emotional experience, teasing a world where “the creatures of the valley exist on a spectrum between plant and animal, creating a wild ecosystem.” The early paintings capture this magical atmosphere, featuring forest streams, mossy rocks and glowing purple plants in a vibrant nighttime atmosphere.

Who is in the voice cast of cloudy?

What’s on Netflix? Keeping an eye on artists for cloudy Follow closely over the past few months, and it’s absolutely packed with comedic genius.

The lead cast, as first revealed in November, are:

• Michael B. Jordan As the voice of a small woodland creature named Ollie (the smallest creature in the valley). (camden brooks Voices the younger iteration of the character)
• Juno Temple As the voice of a majestic, majestic bird named Ivy.

Director Greno praised the lead pair, saying that they provide incredible “warmth and authenticity” to the film, adding, “Every moment between them feels alive – one second funny, the next deeply affecting. Their chemistry elevates and enlivens the story.” cloudy Its wings.”
