If you use What’s on Netflix to keep track of new releases, we have an update you’ll love: Flixable, our new Android app designed to make discovering Netflix faster, cleaner, and more personalized, with an Apple version coming soon.

flexable, now Available on Android App StoreBrings the core experience on Netflix into a mobile-first format, so you can quickly see what just dropped, filter what matters most, save titles for later, and stay on top of breaking Netflix news.

You may remember that we did a massive refresh of our New on Netflix page on the website about a month ago, and one of the reasons we did so was to prepare for the mobile release rollout, which is now here.

Note: Like our New on Netflix hub page, this new app currently only covers the United States addition. We plan to roll it out in the UK later this year.

What is Flixable?

Flixable is a companion app for What’s on Netflix that helps you:

  • Browse newly added Netflix titles to the daily feed
  • Filter by type, language, genre and curated category tags
  • Save titles to a see later List
  • Read the latest Netflix news from What’s on Netflix
  • Get optional daily or weekly reminders for new additions

Note: You may remember Flixable as the searchable Netflix tool we acquired after the previous owner was unable to keep it running. We are happy to revive it again!

Built for how people actually browse

Most people don’t open Netflix with a specific title in mind — they’re looking for something new that suits their mood. Flixable is designed to help you do just that, with something new added.

You can quickly narrow the feed with filters, then hit apply To refresh results instantly. When you’re done the filter menu can be collapsed to keep the interface clean.

key features

1) What’s the new feed (by date)

By default Flixable organizes new additions with clear daily headers, so you can quickly see what dropped today vs. earlier. We also give you the option of a simple list (with popups with lots of additional information) or expanded cards that give you everything about new titles at once.

2) Powerful filtering

Refine the feed as follows:

  • film or series
  • Language
  • Style
  • Special categories like Kids, Documentaries, Anime, Stand-up, Podcasts, and more

3) watch later

Found something interesting but not ready to press the play button? Save it and come back any time.

4) Latest News Tab

Get Netflix coverage and updates from the What’s on Netflix editorial feed right inside the app.

5) Optional notifications

Choose your speed:

  • daily reminder
  • weekly recap
  • or no information at all

why we made it

What’s On on Netflix has always focused on helping people know what to watch next. Flixable extends that mission with a dedicated mobile experience where search feels immediate and practical – not cluttered.

This is version one, and we’re just getting started. We’ll continue to improve Flixable with interface polish, smart discovery tools, and additional quality of life updates based on your feedback.

The Apple version is almost complete – just a few more things to polish on that front, and we’ll hopefully submit that to the App Store soon!

If you try the app, let me know what you’d like to see next by emailing me [email protected]- We’re building it for the same audience we write for every day.

Flixable is now available on Android.
