Tyler Perry is back, and Mickey Haller is still on a roll. This week, The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 continued its upward trajectory, bucking the “seasonal decay” trend to outpace its predecessor by 20%. That’s in addition to one of the busiest weeks of the year for international show and movie debuts so far. Plus, another story continues to play out thanks to a renewed media frenzy; viewership for Epstein: Filthy Rich exploded by triple digits.

Before digging in, we’ve already covered how Netflix’s Jeffrey Epstein and Ghillaine Maxwell documentaries have seen huge bumps with the arrival of the files and continues circus, but this week, hours viewed for the Epstein: Filthy Rich documentary rose 175%, going from 11.5M last week to 31.6M this week.

As always, before we get into the stories, here’s how this week’s top 10s ranked against prior weeks dating back to June 2023:

  • English TV: 52,200,000 (Rank 52 of 139 weeks)
  • English Film: 53,200,000 (Rank 128 of 139 weeks)
  • Non-English TV: 34,300,000 (Rank 30 of 139 weeks)
  • Non-English Film: 33,100,000 (Rank 71 of 139 weeks)

1. Joe’s College Road Trip Doesn’t Quite Hit Like Madea

We’ve said it time and time again, but Tyler Perry is a massive draw for Netflix, and it turns out that a Madea spin-off does indeed have a much lower ceiling than the actual Madea movies. The spin-off, centered on Joe who has been a mainstay in the Madea movies, did well enough even with 23.1M hours and 12.5M views, it’s still a decent performance and we’ve heard that Tyler Perry has even more coming up for the streamer.

2. Love is Blind Still Going Strong 10 Seasons In

Netflix has also adjusted its naming convention for its dating reality show, opting to move from season numbers to city-state names. Season 10, labeled Ohio, debuted with 26.6M hours watched, equating to 4.6M views, which is strong and marks the show’s highest debut to date, though season 6 remains the biggest debut so far. Here’s how that stacks up on the prior season:

3. The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 is still 20% up on Season 3

Last week, we covered how The Lincoln Lawyer bucked Netflix’s usual trend of series losing audience season over season and grew by 28%. That continued in week 2, with the show now at 18.6M views, up from 15.5M in season 3 and on par with season 1 in the same three-week period. As we noted, season 5 is already a thing of the past with cameras due to roll imminently, but season 6 looks just as easy get.

Noting that season 1 launched a bit earlier than S3 and S4, here’s how the seasons are stacking up thus far:

4. Katt Williams is one of Netflix’s biggest comic draws

Katt Williams returned for his fourth stand-up special (pre-recorded again this time around), and he proves why he’s one of the best with his opening week besting almost every other stand-up special for the past year.

5. Motorvalley Flies the Flag for Italy

With the Olympics in Italy, you might have thought Motorvalley would’ve gotten a bit of a bump, but with 2.2M views, it ranks amongst the lowest of Netflix Italy’s Tuesday series debuts for the past few years.

6. Lead Children Proves a Hit For Netflix Poland

Among the other international debuts last week was Lead Children from Poland. It ranked in the top 10s worldwide and garnered 4.2M views, making it one of the country’s best debuts in a while and just behind the Harlan Coben adaptation, Just One Look.

7. The Art of Sarah Debuts Low for Netflix South Korea

New Korean dramas are coming thick and fast in 2026, but it appears we have another soft debut with The Art of Sarah, debuting with just 22.9M hours and 3.8M views. We’ve seen these shows recently tend to bounce a bit higher in week 2, so we’ll keep an eye on them.

8. Kohrra Returns for Netflix India

Releasing on Wednesday was the second season of Kohrra, which returns, coming up on three years since the original dropped. It’s a pretty low start compared with other Hindi series released that day, albeit there haven’t been all that many.

Sadly, not a great comparison between season 1 and season 2 right now, given that season 1 bizarred dropped on a Saturday, so it didn’t have much time to gain hours and enter the Netflix top 10s.

9. A Father’s Miracle for Mexico

The international premieres continue with A Father’s Miracle, which stacks up a bit better than last year’s A Time for Bravery, but by no means a blockbuster for Mexico.

10. State of Fear for Netflix Brazil

And finally, for the new international releases, we come to State of Fear, which topped the Non-English movie chart this week. It debuted around the middle of the pack compared to other Brazilian movies released on a Wednesday.

Some More Check-Ins

Bridgerton season 4 has remained around 10-12% down throughout its first two weeks, and that remains the case in week 3, which is incredibly consistent. While 10% sounds like a lot, we’re talking about the upper echelons of Netflix titles here, so it’s still a big win.

The German series Unfamiliar was off to a killer start last week, and that continues in week 2 with a bump of viewing hours of 112% – a certain renewal.

HIS & HERS remains a nail-biter six weeks in against The Night Agent season 1, and the graph is not looking particularly good with viewership now falling off much faster than The Night Agent at the same point in time six weeks in. By 91 days, TNA had picked up 98.2M views, and our estimates have it coming in a bit off now…

What are our projections? Let’s take a look:

Scenario Retention Rate Estimated Final (91 Days)
Bull Case 75% 97.8 Million
Base Case 60% 93.4 Million
Bear Case 45% 90.9 Million

Salvador had a ROUGH first week on Netflix in week 1 from Spain, but it did pick up in week 2 with a 197% uplift in viewing hours. Given how low it started, it barely clawed back much against competition in prior years. Would be spectacularly surprised if this returns.
