In a special Valentine’s Day update, Netflix confirmed that the series will arrive in May 2026 and revealed the first look at the star-studded voice cast centering on the horned beasts of the jungle.
mating season is an upcoming Netflix Original adult animated comedy series created by the team of Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett, Andrew Goldberg, and Nick Kroll, with Brutus Pink executive producing. Meanwhile, Chris Prynosky, Shannon Prynosky, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina are serving as executive producers for Titmouse.

Netflix has shared the following logline regarding the plot, describing it as an adult animated romantic comedy:
“From the creators of Big Mouth comes Mating Season… based on the animal world – about love, sex, relationships and the universal need to find a mate and perpetuate the species – featuring bears, raccoons, deer, foxes and many other horned, furry forest creatures.”

Netflix dropped the cast announcement for “Meet the Species” on Valentine’s Day, confirming four major leads for the series.
As expected, co-producer Nick Kroll Will voice the main character named Ray.
