Welcome to your weekly deep dive into the Netflix top 10s for the week ending February 8th, 2026. It was a week defined by returning favorites and breakout international hits, headlined by Mickey Haller’s return to the docket in The Lincoln Lawyer, which posted its strongest season opener yet. While Bridgerton season 4 retains the crown at Number 1, the data suggests the Regency romance is cooling slightly compared to its predecessor. Meanwhile, the charts saw strong debuts from the UK documentary The Investigation of Lucy Letby and the German thriller Unfamiliar, proving that crime—both factual and fictional—remains a top draw for subscribers globally.
A few omissions from the Netflix top 10s this week. Queen of Chess, perhaps unsurprisingly, didn’t break into the Netflix movie list, where it needed 2.8M views to enter. Star Search, which goes live on Netflix with new episodes in the early part of the week, once again didn’t feature at all, and once again, there were no podcasts in the weekly top 10s to speak of.
Another notable title is the documentary series Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, which was released in 2020 and saw a significant resurgence in the top 10s this week. We’ve already covered where and why elsewhere.
For those wondering why Sullivan’s Crossing and Animal Kingdom got in the top 10s this week, they premiered on Netflix in select international territories last week. We also aren’t able to do comparisons this week for Even If This Love Disappears and Cash Queens due to a lack of suitable titles released on the same day from South Korea and Spain. We’ll hopefully have more to say on those in the coming weeks.Â

Now, let’s begin with the rankings before diving into the numbers:
- English TV: 61,200,000 (Rank 22 of 138 weeks)
- English Film: 51,600,000 (Rank 131 of 138 weeks)
- Non-English TV: 18,600,000 (Rank 126 of 138 weeks)
- Non-English Film: 31,500,000 (Rank 82 of 138 weeks)
1. The Investigation of Lucy Letby Debuts Well for a UK Doc

Announced seemingly out of nowhere a week before release, Netflix’s Lucy Letby documentary debuted last week and did quite well for a UK documentary, but not quite at the scale of some of Netflix’s other crime documentary features that have dropped on a Wednesday.Â
FlixPatrol data shows the doc in the number 1 spot in most Anglo and Western/Northern European territories, but a large share of viewership will come from the UK for this title.Â
2. The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 28% Higher Than Season 3
Mickey Haller’s best season yet came alongside stellar viewership, with the series up from 7 million views on season 3 to 9 million for the first four days of season 4. Of course, its viewership, while important, won’t play any role in renewal given that season 5 begins production next month. What it does mean, however, is that the chances of a sixth season, presumably adapting The Proving Ground, just went up.Â
Note: We can’t compare with season 1 of the show, since it dropped on a Friday rather than a Thursday. We also can’t directly compare it to season 3, given that it was released across two volumes. That said, the show is still showing growth against both of these seasons, according to our estimates.Â
3. Bridgerton Season 4 Is Still Lagging Behind Season 3
Last week, Bridgerton season 4 debuted with slightly lower viewership than season 3, down about 12%. That remains the case in week 2, with the newest season lagging behind by around 10% season-over-season, with season 4 sitting at 63.1M views and season 3 having sat at 70.4M in the same period.Â
4. Unfamiliar Has a Strong Debut for Netflix Germany
The first major debut for Netflix Germany’s 2026 slate dropped last week, with that being a new crime thriller series Unfamiliar (which, anecdotally, has been doing very well on social media), and it’s a solid debut with it right around some other German shows released on a Thursday in recent years although quite some distance behind the debut of The Empress.
5. Salvador Debuts Super Low for Netflix Spain

Netflix Spain cannot catch a break as of late, with another poor performer in its new drama series Salvador, which debuts at the bottom of the pack among other Spanish-language Friday debuts, with just 1.2M views.Â
6. Is It Cake? Valentine’s debuts lower than Halloween
Another Is It Cake? spin-off landed just in time for Valentine’s, and it proves the season of love is not quite as tasty as the season of horror!Â
Some Check-Ins
No dramatic uplift in viewership for The Rip means that it’ll fall just short of Netflix’s all-time top 10. Damsel currently ranks tenth on that list, meaning the movie is about 10% down in performance.Â
HIS & HERS, as we’ve been tracking, looked comfortably on track to get an all-time top 10 spot, although its viewership has now slowed pretty dramatically and looks like it will be a nail-biter. It’s now sitting at 83.3M views after week 5, whereas season 1 of The Night Agent was at 80.8M at the same interval.Â
Now in week 3, Singles Inferno is still a big hit from Netflix South Korea and the renewal is almost certainly just around the corner. It’s a rare Netflix show that continues to grow season after season.Â
