The Straw Hats are officially back! Netflix just released its huge first trailer a piece Season 2, Title in the grand lineConfirms a March 2026 release date, a global fan tour, and a special message from producer Eiichiro Oda.
It’s been a long wait since the live-action adaptation of a piece The end of 2023 has taken the world by storm, but the journey of the Grand Line is finally about to begin. Today, Netflix took the wraps off the highly anticipated second season, giving us our first look at the next chapter of Monkey D. Luffy’s quest to become King of the Pirates.
The new trailer promises a massive expansion of the series as the Straw Hat crew leaves East Blue behind and enters the “pirate graveyard” known as the Grand Line. We get a glimpse of the “bizarre islands” and “formidable new enemies” mentioned in the official synopsis.

A special message from Eiichiro Oda
As is tradition for live-action series, producer Eiichiro Oda is heavily involved. Along with the trailer, Netflix shared a personally written letter from Oda-sensei sharing his excitement for the new season:
“It’s almost ready!! With Season 1, we faced the world’s question head-on: “Can One Piece really be adapted into live-action?” And the answer spoke for itself, reaching the top 10 in 93 countries and territories and number 1 in 46!

13 global fan events announced
Netflix is turning the launch into a worldwide celebration with 13 global fan screenings and activations. These events, titled “Journey to the Grand Line”, will take place on the following dates:

- 26 February: Los Angeles, CA
- February 27-March 1: Brussels, Belgium
- February 28-March 1: Paris, France
- March 4-8: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- March 5: Tokyo, Japan
- March 5-15: Jakarta, Indonesia
- March 6-8: Milan, Italy
- 8 March: Cape Town, South Africa
- March 8-15: Bangkok, Thailand
- March 13-15: Taguig, Philippines
- 14 March: Kaohsiung, Taiwan

First Look Images: Chopper, Robin, and Baroque Works Revealed
Along with the trailer, Netflix released a massive gallery of “first look” images, giving us our best glimpse yet of the new characters joining the cast. Most notably, we see the first live-action footage of Tony Tony ChopperThe future doctor of the crew. Photos also introduce Lera Abova As for the mysterious Miss All Sunday (Nico Robin), david dastmalchian as the villain Mr. 3, and Charitra Chandran As Miss Wednesday. We also get a look at the Drum Island Arc stars, which include katie sagal As Dr. Kureha, Mark Harelik As Dr. Hiriluk, and Rob Colletti As the villain Wapol. Perhaps the most exciting first look for longtime fans LaboonGiant Island Eating Whale!
