BTS is back! BTS Army will be thrilled to know that, three and a half years after their last live performance, the world’s most popular K-pop boy band will begin their world tour and their new album, ARIRANG, from Gwanghwamun, Seoul, live and exclusively on Netflix on March 21, 2026. Here’s everything we know about his anticipated return.
Over the past few years, Netflix has made great strides in its line-up of live content. From WWE, boxing, tennis, the NFL, stand-up comedy and even death-defying stunts, the one thing missing from its lineup (outside of NFL pre- and halftime shows) is live music. That’s all about to change with the epic comeback of the world’s most popular K-pop boy band, BTS.

Netflix announced late on February 2, 2026 that it was partnering with HYBE to bring BTS’s first live performance since October 2022 live and exclusive to Netflix. 21 March 2026. To accompany their live performances, a companion documentary, BTS: The Return, was released. Will be released after a week 27 March 2026, Displaying details of their return.

In October 2022, BTS announced to the world that they would be taking a break to pursue solo projects, and during that time, members RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook also completed his mandatory military service In the Army of the Republic of Korea. Fans have been eagerly awaiting their return and for their patience they will be rewarded with not only a live performance on Netflix, but also the start of their new world tour and the release of their fifth studio album, ARIRANG.

BTS will perform live from Gwanghwamun in Seoul, and fans outside Korea, especially in the West, will have to wake up in the early hours of the morning, as the event will start at 8 pm KST. This means the event will start at 4am PST and 7am EST for the United States.
BTS: The Comeback is directed by Hamish Hamilton. Done + Dusted is the production company responsible for the live performance. HYBE, BIGHIT MUSIC, Guy Carrington, Garrett English and Kevin Hermanson are executive producers.

The documentary, BTS: The Returns, which will arrive on Netflix a week later, is directed by Bao Nguyen. It is produced by This Machine, HYBE, East Films, with executive producers Mark Blatty, Melissa Robledo, Seonjeong Shin, Nicole Kim, Kyewon Suh, and James Shin.
