The podcast business has grown rapidly in recent years, and it was only a matter of time before Netflix got in on the action. As we head into 2026, the service is set to receive a ton of podcast content starting in January 2026. In this post, we’ll take a look at all the titles coming our way.
2026 is set to be a phenomenal year for podcasts on Netflix, with the streamer becoming the home of podcasts featuring Bill Simmons, Chelsea Handler, Bobby Bones, and Adam DeVine. Between Netflix’s deals with iHeartMedia, Barstool, and The Ringer, some of the biggest and most admired names in the podcast field will soon be coming to its library.
There are already several tie-in podcasts on Netflix that delve even deeper into fan-favorite shows and movies; look no further than this Squid Game: The Official Podcast.
As the podcast market continues to grow rapidly, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos sees the medium as a key element of the future. “We’re constantly looking at all different types of content and content creators,” he said in early 2025. Diversity“The lines between podcasts and talk shows are becoming much more blurred, We want to work with great creators in all types of media that consumers love, And podcasts, to your point, have become much more video-forward,”
Fast forward to today, and Netflix is making big steps in the podcast arena by partnering with some of the biggest companies in the industry. With the deals made by Netflix, we are seeing a large number of podcasts arriving in January 2026.
From licensed content to original offerings, here’s a comprehensive list of podcasts coming to the Netflix library, but before we get to that, some FAQs:
- Will there be a Podcast Hub on Netflix? Not necessary. according to Official Support DocumentsYou’ll have to manually search for podcasts or even enter the word ‘podcast’ to get the full list. Presumably, there will be a dedicated line as well.
- Will there be ads in podcasts on Netflix? Like. Again, according to Netflix, “all of our plans for podcasts may contain limited commercial content.”
- Will these be available globally? No, at least not in the beginning. Only the US will air the podcast in January, with others following suit.
- Can you download more podcast clips? Yes.
- How do you subscribe to podcasts? You just have to hit the “Remind Me” button on the pages (using the link below), and Netflix will reportedly notify you when new episodes become available.
The Ringer (Spotify) Podcast

Ringer Network was founded by Bill Simmons and later owned by Spotify. Announced in October 2025, the Netflix deal brings some of the most popular podcasts to its library, spanning genres from sports to culture, lifestyle and true crime.

- bill simmons podcast (January 11) -Bill Simmons hosts the most downloaded sports podcast of all time, featuring conversations with celebrities, athletes, and members of the Ringer universe. Unlike other shows, this one will be live on Netflix.
- zach lowe show (January 12) – Taking you deeper into the NBA through discussions with Zach’s friends who cover the league and interviews with some of the biggest names in basketball.
- The McShay Show ,12 January) – Todd McShay brings you into the world of the NFL Draft, tracking prospects, and constantly updating his own mock drafts along with sharing front-office intel.

Barstool Sports Podcast
Netflix’s multi-year agreement with Barstool Podcasts sees them have video exclusivity for three of Barstool’s most iconic titles, including forgive my mistake And The Ryan Russillo Podcast. However, audio episodes will continue to stream on most creator podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.).
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy said of the deal, “We are excited to partner with Netflix and look forward to driving new audiences to each platform.”
