A very exciting new Japanese crime drama is coming to Netflix in Spring 2026, Cujo’s sins. Adapted from Shohei Manabe’s manga of the same name, the series will star Hokuta Matsumura, Eliza Ikeda and Keita Machida. Here’s everything we know about it Cujo’s sins On Netflix.
Cujo’s sins is an upcoming Japanese Netflix Original drama series written by Nonji Nemoto and adapted from Shohei Manabe’s manga of the same name from Weekly Big Comic Spirits published by Shogakukan. The series is co-directed by Nobuhiro Doi, Takeyoshi Yamamoto and Hiroshi Adachi.
Director Nobuhiro Doi shared the following with Netflix about the series:
“A lawyer who stands on the dark side, Yuya Yagira and Hokuto Matsumura paired up to play the role of Buddy, and are streaming worldwide on Netflix – at this point, there isn’t a single producer who isn’t interested in this project. As we recreated the setting and mood of the original manga with all its unforgettable thrills and heart-wrenching excitement, we made the most of the extreme vitality of the interactions between flesh-and-blood actors.” Like the original manga, you won’t find a simple or easy to understand character in Kujo that’s not just black and white. Producer, Kaori Sugiyama also shared her opinion on the series:
“When I heard from Shinichi Takahashi at Netflix about this adaptation, I had read up to volume four. I read the original manga and imagined that there were surely countless other things happening in between the panels. I felt very excited about the future of the characters to come, and I let my imagination run wild toward the adaptation. The right cast of actors will bring to life the incredible original manga characters who live so vividly in an unpredictable and unfair world and in a society that is too dark to be real. hokuto matsumura Shinji plays the role of Karasuma. The actor will debut on Netflix with Sins of Cujo. He is best known for his leading roles in Japanese dramas ensemble cast, knock on closed doorAnd who needs true love.
