An exciting cast starring The Glories song hi kyo aur squid game Gong Yoo leads Netflix’s post-Korean War drama tartar. We have our first look at Tantara, which will be coming to Netflix in Q4 2026.
tartar (formerly titled Show Business) is an upcoming South Korean Netflix original period drama directed by Lee Yoon Jung (argon) and written by screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung (our blues). Longtime collaborators Studio Dragon and GTist will produce the series.

When? Desire tartar be issued on Netflix?
As confirmed in Netflix’s 2026 Korean slate, Tantara will be released in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The exact release date has not been announced yet.

Show Business is a post-Korean War story that begins in the 1960s and follows South Korea’s booming entertainment industry through the 1980s.

Gong Yoo is best known for his role as Salesman squid gameWho he will play again in season 2. He also starred in the sci-fi K-drama Silent Sea. He is arguably best known for starring in the fantasy romance drama Goblin and the iconic South Korean horror train to busan. He will play the role of Dong Gu.
Lee Ha Ni was last seen as a guest on Netflix in 2019 be melodramatic. However, the actress will be in her first leading role on Netflix AimaWhich will premiere in 2025. She will play the role of Min Hui. She plays the role of Yang Jae.
Kim Seol Hyun was last seen in the historical K-drama on Netflix my country new era. Since then, he has led K-dramas awaken, killer shopping list, summer strikeAnd light shop. She plays the role of Min Hoo.
Cha Seung Won’s last lead role was in the K-drama Our Blues on Netflix. He has since guest starred on The Trunk and will also have a guest role in the upcoming series no mercy for anyone. He will play the role of Gil Yeo.
Kim Jeong Woo was most recently seen as Father Peter in Seasons 2 and 3 sweet home. He will play a supporting role in the series.

Filming for Show Business began on December 12, 2024. Filming was scheduled to be completed by December 22, 2025, but the K-drama wrap party was held recently.
