The Vikings of Berk is coming to Netflix sooner than you think. Unexpectedly, a live-action reimagining how to Train Your Dragon After a brief exclusive window on Peacock, it will make its Netflix US debut in early February.
This isn’t the only Universal Pictures film coming to Netflix in this first window period. What is the live-action How to Train Your Dragon?
director dean deblois (who also wrote and directed the original animated trilogy), this live-action adaptation remains faithful to the original film and delivers an adaptation similar to what Disney has been doing with its beloved animated IPs for the past decade and what Netflix has done with it. “On the rugged island of Berk, where dragon fighting is a way of life, young Viking teen Hiccup (Mason Thames) aspires to hunt dragons to prove his worth to his tribe and his father, Chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler). But when he befriends a wounded dragon, his world is turned upside down.”
