Netflix has added two new voice cast members to its second major animated project from Skydance Animation in Next on Netflix 2026, as well as another confirmation that the film is set to be released in 2026, but there’s still no firm release date (though we believe it’s targeting a spring premiere).
During its Next on Netflix 2026 event, the streamer confirmed a release this year and also revealed two new artists joining the project: tracy morgan And Cedric the EntertainerThey will voice the characters Boogle and Kailu respectively, Netflix also revealed official photos of their characters, seen below, They join previously announced stars Michael B, Jordan and Juno Temple,
Morgan is best known for his stint on the popular NBC comedy series 30 rockin addition to your time Saturday night Live and film roles such as cop out And the longest YardCedric the Entertainer is known for his roles barber shop Trilogy and madagascar Animated films, and featured in Netflix un frosted,
The film is directed by Nathan Greno, whose credits include Tangledand features a script by John Whittington and writing duo Christian Magalhaes and Robert Snow. John Lasseter, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews produce.
